Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dalifin handles information when you use InboxDigest, including the mobile app, the account website, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account. We also process inbox message content, message metadata, and related settings when you ask the service to generate summaries or run related inbox workflows. We may collect operational data such as subscription status, token or usage totals, app version, and service logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

2. Email Credentials and Content

Your inbox credentials are intended to stay on your device and are not meant to be stored on our servers as part of normal InboxDigest operation. When you run a digest or related feature, message content and metadata may be transmitted to Dalifin servers and to service providers acting on our behalf solely to generate the requested output. We do not use your inbox content to train our own models. Where commercial large language model providers are used for processing, we intend to use providers and configurations that do not use submitted content for model training.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information to provide InboxDigest functionality, authenticate users, manage subscriptions and billing, deliver requested summaries and notifications, maintain security, diagnose failures, comply with legal obligations, and improve the service.

4. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. These measures include HTTPS for network traffic, strong password hashing, controlled server access, and authenticated service APIs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the service, such as hosting providers, payment processors, and model or AI-processing providers, but only for legitimate business purposes related to InboxDigest. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and billing records while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, backup, and operational purposes. We aim not to retain inbox content longer than needed to provide the requested processing, subject to temporary caching, backup, logging, and legal requirements.

7. Cookies and Website Data

Our account website may use essential cookies, including httpOnly session cookies, to keep you signed in and secure the website. We do not describe these essential cookies as optional advertising trackers.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may be able to access, update, or delete certain account information through your account settings. You may also request account deletion or ask privacy-related questions by contacting support. Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights regarding access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

InboxDigest is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
